HULL / DECK / EXTERIOR

 

  • Very sturdy steel hull and deck construction. Bottom plating 12mm. Topsides 6mm. Deck 6mm

  • Can ground and dry out on hard uneven ground

  • Sits upright on flat ground

  • Exceptionally shallow draught - 2ft 6ins despite displacement of 30 tons

  • All steel protected with full International Paints epoxy system inside and out

  • Entire interior of hull topsides and deck head insulated with spray-on polyurethane foam for insulation and sound deadening

INTERIOR

    - Main saloon: dinette small double berth
    - Owners cabin: Double berth
    - Forepeak: Three pilot berths

  • Spacious owners cabin includes full size double berth, en-suite toilet and wash basin, storage space and three spacious drawers under double berth

  • Entire interior hull topsides and cabin sides/deck head insulated with polyurethane foam for insulation and sound deadening

  • Spacious interior - sleeps up to 7

  • Entire interior outfitted to an exceptionally high standard using Colombian pine and teak with gunmetal and brass fittings

  • Very spacious galley with sink and drainer, oven hob, fridge, storage cupboards and drawers

  • Tiled aft heads with storage space

  • Full height storage cupboard beside chart table

  • Half size chart table with book shelves, etc

  • Main saloon has one fixed table with fiddles, which comfortably seats four. Opposite there is a second table (which lowers to form a double berth) with fiddles, which comfortably seats four

  • Additionally, there are several book shelves, storage cupboard and a spacious wine rack

  • Forepeak has three pilot berths with storage lockers under lower berths. Additionally, there is a fold down table, seating two

  • Heavy-duty teak companionway ladders. Aft from main sliding hatch into accommodation. Forward from large Ocean hatch in forward doghouse, into forepeak

  • 12 brass portholes (some opening) in cabin sides

  • Vinyl lined removable headlining and hull panels with teak trim

ENGINE / ENGINE ROOM:

 

  • PERKINS SABRE M90 (82HP) main engine with PRM gearbox driving a four blade bronze propellor on stainless steel shaft

  • Completely separate engine room with access through two deck hatches and through a watertight door from the accommodation

  • Stainless steel drip tray fitted under engine

  • Engine, gear and throttle controls mounted on steering pedestal

  • Deep storage lockers in engine room

  • Vice mounted adjacent to work space in engine room


 

SPARS / RIGGING / SAILS

 

  • Carbon fibre topmast and hollow mainsail timber gaff, to reduce weight aloft

  • Topmast can be lowered from deck level

  • Traditional ratlines (timber) for mainmast access full height, port and starboard

  • Hinged bowsprit which can be raised vertically

  • Easy to sail (2 people) utilising self-tailing and electric winches

  • Mizzen sheeted to rudder to provide additional balancing

  • Self-tacking staysail


 

ELECTRICAL

 

  • Comprehensive customised circuit breaker switch panel mounted above chart table with all controls for 12V, 24V and 240V circuits on board

  • 12V, 24V and 240V plug sockets fitted throughout the vessel

  • Double USB socket in main saloon and in forepeak (via cigarette lighter socket)

  • All internal lighting has LED bulbs for low power consumption. Many lights are traditional brass style


 

WATER SYSTEM / PUMPS / PLUMBING

 

  • Pressurised hot and cold water system for galley sinks and heads washbasin. Separate pressurised cold water system from separate tanks for both forward and aft toilets

  • Hot water supplied by heat exchanger on engine via a calorifier, and also from a 240V immersion heater

  • Tanks have level indicators on main breaker panel. Tank capacities as follows:
    - Domestic 444L
    - Fresh water toilets 220L
    - Forward holding tank 110L
    - Aft holding tank 80L
    - Diesel for main engine and heating 340L

  • Two electric toilets

  • Two electric holding tank discharge pumps for pump out at sea


 

PAINT / VARNISH / ANTIFOULING

 

  • All steel fully protected with INTERNATIONAL PAINTS epoxy system from new. Followed by multiple coats INTERNATIONAL PAINTS TOPLAC

  • External woodwork and spars protected by EPIFANES high gloss yacht varnish or INTERNATIONAL PAINTS WOODSKIN oil-varnish

  • Below water hull protected by JOTUN SEA QUANTUM antifouling
